Chris “Art” Hruska - The “Cyberfist”.
Character Story
Art grew up on the outskirts of Night City, in the “Reclaimed Zone”. His parents were both Reclaimers, and they were set up in a village they have taken for themselves. He was used to the semi-nomadic lifestyle. His mother would stay home with him when she could, and his father would be called in for work as a Muscle-For-Hire.
At the age of 8, he started to accompany his father on trips into the Combat Zone in Night City. He saw his first man die at the age of 9, when his dad shot a man in the head during a bar argument. This incident pissed off the head of the Reclaimer group, who decided to exile my family from their settlement.
The family moved to Night City, the supposed “City of Dreams”. Being adapted to moving helped when his dad could not keep up with the rent, and they had to move to smaller places. His mother left with his siblings after they were scheduled to move into a Cargo Container Home in the Combat Zone. The only reminder he has of her is her brooch, a simple gold piece that is worth more then all the money in the world to him.
Art stayed with his dad, and learned the tricks of the trade. His dad learned a multitude of Martial Arts, and taught his son everything he could. Art learned he could take a hit just as much as he could dish, and gravitated towards the Thrash Sambo artform. His dad taught him such things as Militech Commando, Boxing, and Muay Thai.
At the age of 17, his father died. While he tried to maintain the container’s rent, after 3 months, he was kicked out. Living rough with a tent on his back, he has been travelling the outskirts of Night City, entering when he is called on for a job. Luckily, it’s easier to travel this expanse with a friend with a car, Dare.
